- I am a 37 year old creative mind living in Los Angeles. My lap-band surgery date was in September 2009 and I have lost 129 lbs with the help of my band. In May 2012 I had a revision surgery to the Vertical Sleeve. I am a dreamer, an avid reader and a music addict. that's just scary!I checked my surgeon on the state licensing board website before my first appointment. I hightly recommend everyone checks out their doctors!
